Asia

As a personal diary and taking drifting as a methodology for creation, ASIA illustrates a series of six extensive trips made between 2001 and 2018 throughout the Asian continent. Guided by the psychogeographies of the landscape—that is, the emotional influence of the physical environment on those who traverse it—the collection reveals a dual evolution. On the one hand, that of the author’s style—which moves from a more intuitive and visceral gaze towards a more measured and analytical approach—and on the other, that of photographic technology itself, then immersed in the midst of the transition between analog image and the digital age.
